Southern A'Chord:
A New Harmony in the region

In the heart of North Louisiana, a new chapter in a cappella singing has begun with the formation of our women’s community chorus, Southern A’Chord.

A group of dedicated singers has come together with a collective passion for music that we want to share with the entire area. Our chorus leaders bring decades of experience in a cappella singing and leadership, ensuring a strong foundation for our new venture.

Our mission is multifaceted - focusing on education, community and the joy of singing. We foster a supportive sisterhood with the aim of helping our members discover and develop their talents . By promoting the health benefits and sheer fun of singing, we hope to inspire more people in the region to join us. And by providing performances throughout the area, we can bring joy and unity through music. Additionally, our commitment to community involvement is strong, as we plan to participate in multiple service projects.

We achieved our 501(c)(3) status as a non-profit in December 2023, and we are planning our first official recruitment event – a Welcome Night – for September 2024.

We look forward to enriching the lives of our members and the broader community through the power of song.

Southern A’Chord. That’s our goal.
